It seems our lot in life includes a fair share of burying animals.

Oh no. Not again.
I hate to say it but these pictures made me laugh harder than anything else did all day. I’m brainstorming titles for a book about your encounters with the animal world. Which reminds me, I can’t remember ever seeing anything on here about the Case of the Missing Pony. (still giggling)
If I had nice soft dirt like that I would bury our dead animals too. As it is… we have to take unorthodox measures.

Aww…. poor girlies!
May your next animals live good long lives.

This looks like a real funeral.Who was the preacher?
PD
Mr. Michael Brubaker officiated and assisted at the graveside service.

Seriously, Pastor Michael Brubaker?

Seriously, it was our Friend Michael Brubaker from the Chilly State of Michigan. I think you know him, don’t you? He was visiting for a few days, and got in on the rescue efforts and the graveside service and the burial. He was also the Official Photographer for the event. He was very good company.

Okay, I believe every word you say. I might just need Michael someday.

I just came back and I enjoyed these pictures as much as I did the first time. I should archive them somewhere and visit them on gloomy days. I did wonder who the photographer was, since your brother’s logo wasn’t on this post. May all future mammals on the Weaver Farm live long and fruitful lives.
