Today is the day when many of Isaac’s friends will return from Honduras, Lord willing.  This does not include his immediate family … only those who flew down to be with the family this past week.  Pray that God will keep them safe, uphold them and continue to comfort them.  Also pray for Joy, Shanna, Briana, Greta, and Amy, as well as Daniel and Melissa and Weston.  Things will be much quieter there now.

Thanks for all the prayers and love you have poured out on the family and all of us.  It means more than you can know.  It was so important to Isaac that each person be loved and respected.  He would be so grateful to every one of you for the love you have shown to his family and friends.  God bless you.

“Blessed be God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ;  the Father of mercies, and the God of all comfort …”

Leeny, thanks for all the updates you’ve been doing. I’m continuing to pray. I love you all.

You know, I think you commented on “Be still my soul” the day Isaac went home. Did you know he was someone I thought of every time I’ve sang that song? Isaac had shared the words to that hymn with Marly as an encouragement and she had shared that with me over the phone. I don’t know if he ever got to hear it, but I had hoped to share with him someday that he was part of the inspiration…

Rejoice! Weston got his passport in two hours, a process that usually takes 4 weeks. That means Dani and Lissa can come up for Isaac’s memorial service. I guess the consul didn’t know he was working for God that day, via the prayers of the ones that were coming home from the river.

have been stopping by here frequently in the last wk to see the updates you’ve posted on the loss of your dear friend, Issac & wanted to bless you for all the times that you’ve provided a connection base to Hond… (i’ve known the Troyers & Abes ever since they lived in Ky)
It has been a priviledge to see a part of your caring heart in small glimpes during this time.Praying that God will be near you in the times ahead- esp that the memorial service would bring a comforting Balm from His heart!
    YAY!!! to Rhoda’s comment! PTL!
    His comforting love to you-Bertha

Leenie, I love to keep in touch with home through your blog. We are so far away from the Coates family but we are still hurting for them and lifting them to the feet of Jesus. Thanks for keeping your blog fresh. Happy birthday!! Hope it is a good one for you. Esther will be 21 tomorrow too. Hugs and Love Iva
