Many of you have been wondering if or when there will be any sort of memorial service here in NC for Isaac. This is just to inform you that there will be one here, Lord willing, but not till the Coates return from Honduras. All we know right now is that it is planned for the first weekend in April. The final dates have not been announced yet.Â

Thank you so much for updating about everything. Isaac went to my church so many years ago and this has been a shock and heart breaking for all of us here. We are praying for the Coates and y’all as well…
Leeny I love you! Right now its real hard to understand why God let this happen. It hurts, it hurts! But God has a plan and a purpose out of everything! We need to put our trust in him and submit everything totally to him. Even though its often difficult! It makes me relize how priceless friends are and how often we take them for granted. It still seems very difficult to believe that he’s gone.

I just want to thank you so much for your updates on Issac and the memorial service. We had been feeling so isolated out here in Cheyenne, aching to be with all of you in North Carolina, and your website has helped us bridge that east/west gap. But most of all, thank you for your poignant meditations, a common touchstone for all of us who are awash in that same exhausting mix of shock and sorrow, thankfulness and joy. I hope to see you at Isaac’s service…
